BUILD 41 Prayer Journal
Campaign Verse
And I told them of the hand of my God that had been upon me for good, and also of the words that the king had spoken to me. And they said, “Let us rise up and build.” So they strengthened their hands for the good work. -Nehemiah 2:18

Frequent Asked Questions
Discipleship and ministering to God’s people is at our core at LBC. With the abundant growth we have experienced, it is time for us to add more space for ministry, discipleship, and worship. Build 41 will be Phase 1 of our building expansion project. Phase 1 will focus on classroom space, ministry space, offices, and restrooms! Nehemiah 2:18
Phase 1 will add 19,438 sq ft to our existing facilities, including 10 classrooms, 6 offices, overflow space for 200 people, and 16 toilets.
The cost estimate we are currently working with is $3,500,000 for Phase 1.
No. After much prayer, petition, and time in the scriptures, the LBC Elders agree that we will not go into bank debt or take loans for this phase of our building expansion. Proverbs 22:7
We have been working for over a year on the plans and engineering, and we hope to start in the fall of 2025. There are always factors like finances and weather that could push us to the winter of 2025.
We will have to shuffle parking around, keeping safety in mind, and making sure we have adequate close parking for our mothers, elderly, and handicapped attendees. Most parking will be across the road, or toward the school.
First, pray! Pray for wisdom, guidance, patience, unity, and provision. Next, we will be asking LBC members to commit to faithful giving and financial support of this Build 41 campaign, above and beyond your normal church giving or tithing. You don’t want to miss being a part of this movement of God, as we make room to share Jesus with more people here in our community. Acts 2:42-27, Matthew 6:21
You will start giving your pledge in July 2025, and we are asking that you make a three year commitment.
We believe God is calling us to equal sacrifice, not equal giving. We understand we all have different abilities, and circumstances change for better or worse. If this happens, for better or worse, we ask that you prayerfully consider how you can adjust your financial commitment to the church. Mark 12:41-44, Acts:20:35. Malachi 3:10
We believe that all things are from God, and that God has blessed us and entrusted us to be stewards of those things, including our finances. Tithing, or regular giving is an act of faith, honoring God with the first fruits which he has given to us. Giving is something that God leads you to do over and above tithing that has to be decided on by each person’s heart’s desire! 1 Chron. 29:12–14. Proverbs 3:6,9-10. 2 Corinthians 9:7
Your pledge and your giving will be confidential. We will not share or announce your individual pledges or giving.
